Effective 2026
How Pruff handles your information
Pruff collects the information needed to create, request, approve, verify, and download receipts. This includes phone numbers, names, receipt details, business profile details, and verification activity.
Information We Use
We use account and receipt information to authenticate users, protect approval flows, generate receipts, show dashboard history, and support public receipt verification pages.
Receipt Verification
Public verification pages may show receipt status, receipt ID, timestamp, seller details, buyer details, amount, currency, and item count so a receipt can be checked.
Storage and Security
We use technical safeguards appropriate for a digital receipt service. No system is perfect, so users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information in receipt notes or item descriptions.
Sharing
Receipt data is shared with the buyer, seller, and anyone who has access to a public verification link. We do not sell your receipt data.
Your Choices
You can archive receipts from your dashboard without removing them from the other party's history. Some records may remain for audit, verification, security, or legal reasons.
